Biddestone

Imagine a quintissential English village and Biddestone could spring to mind. The village ticks all the boxes with a village green, pubs, duckpond and a Norman church. Biddestone is situated at the bottom of the Cotswolds, an area of outstanding beauty.

We are between Castle Combe, known for its motor racing track, and the National Trust village of Lacock, home of Lacock Abbey (where scenes from Harry Potter were filmed) and the Fox Talbot Museum.

Biddestone is 30 minutes away from Bath, a world heritage site with the only natural thermal spa in Britain.

The Roman Baths are a major tourist attraction, along with the Fashion Museum and several art galleries.

Bath is famous for its stunning Georgian architecture and is home to many independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

Nearby Chippenham is home to the annual Chippenham Folk Festival, with over 200 music and dance events over the May bank holiday weekend.
